Thanks so much to those of you who came to the meeting last night! It was great to hear Marcy's take on Developmentally Appropriate Teaching. She is a great resource for parents and teachers alike! We hope to do that training again, as it was a hit with the parents who attended.
Today was fun, busy and loud! :) We were going and doing all morning long. We had a great time playing with our friends, and learning how we are all different, but still the same. We played with playdough this morning, I placed handprint cutters and heart cutter out to use with the dough. This goes along with the Kissing Hand book we have been reading the past week.
We made a batch of playdough this morning, as well. The girls chose the color of the food coloring we used, so....we have pink playdough now!
This is a tornado simulator in the science center. It got alot of attention this morning.
Banjo is the best preschool pet ever! He is so patient and the children love to rub his belly! What a good boy...
We played a game in small group today.
It is called "Silly Expressions". Each child took turns drawing a card and trying to make the same silly face as the picture on the card. They used a hand held mirror to look at their face to see if their face looked the same as the child's face on the card. We learned it sure is hard to make a grumpy face when we are laughing so hard!
We danced!
We enjoyed the perfect weather during our outside time today. Joshua paints with water on the chalkboard.

Junior is working hard to fill the pitcher full of sand. He stuck with it and was so proud to show me the end result!
