We are family!

This week we are learning about FAMILIES! We talked about who can be in a family-and talked about how sometimes a family is big or small. Sometimes our family lives all in the same place or different places. Some people have a mom AND dad, or just a mom, or just a dad, or even have a Grandma and Grandpa who take care of them! We listened some new songs about families, and read a book call My Mom and one called My Dad. We talked about how families work together, like washing the dishes...

We also practiced being mommies and daddies and took care of babies

We also had fun dancing to the Brian Kinder song I Like Being a Kid! The song tells us to "shake a friends' hand, scratch a friends back, and give a friend a hug.

TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES! Although these are informal, I am looking forward to the opportunity to visit with you and talk about your child's school year so far!
