Can we build it?
Today we opened up the tote box full of construction fun and activities. We had lots of fun, and had a really good day today! Frank and Frank(his dad) were here working on the new ceiling and the electrical work in the classroom. The kids have affectionatelt names them "The Mr. Franks". It's funny to hear them say "Where are the Mr. Franks going?" "What are the Mr. Franks doing?" haha
There is alot to watch throught the windows!
A new dramatic play prop-a dump truck costume!
and a Handy Manny costume!
Construction workers
Paizley and Lexi sorted, counted and measured the colored blocks!
We had new puzzles out, as well as a new hammering toys, toolboxes and tools, measuring tapes, and nuts and bolts to use with our fine motor skills.
Today we read Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site, and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed some Leaves!
We also read The Three Little Pigs. It's a good story about construction: straw, sticks, and bricks! Which is the best choice for the pigs house?
This little piggy thought it was so funny to oink at her friends. She was cracking me up!
