Change is a comin'!
This weekend my husband and father-in-law began building my classroom! They framed it and put up the plywood and Tyvek, and put in the windows and doors!
It is soooo much better than even in my head I pictured it! I am excited that it is coming along so well, and although we aren't in it yet, I cannot wait to be there!
The next step is the ceiling and then the wirining and drywall! :D
Today we had alot of people coming and going. The NWA Educational Co-Op had conferences with some parents, so Ms. Emily was here for the first time. She actually used the new classroom as her meeting spot! Glad we had that space for her to use; I think she wouldn't have gotten much accomplished trying to sit inside with us!

Today we had indoor recess due to the rain and our awesom covered outdoor play space being replaced :(
We played groos motor games inside with Miss Beth and Miss Adrian. This is Twister Hopscotch. It was fun to jump to the colors and do what the spinner board instructed:clap, sing, wiggle, or dance. We have fun learning colors, counting, and learning to wait our turn and cheer for our friends!
We also had indoor bowling. (No pics of that-sorry)
We made fall trees today at the table-gluing leaves to half of a paper towel tube. They are cute!
Ironically, we began this week's unit-People Who Build Our Community. How convenient!

ReplyDeleteCan't WAIT to see the classroom! So excited for you! How nice that the Co-op comes for services to your pre-k! :) They were terrific for Andrew. When he was 2 he just grunted. He had speech therapy at Friendship from 2-3 and through the Co-op from 3-5 and he 'graduated' out this year! He has no services this year! AMAZING! :) Hope that if any of your kiddos have service that they have as good as a result as we experienced! :)
