It's All About ME!

We finished up our apple unit this week, and also did alot of activities that go with our unit "All About Me!"

We used apples to make a mural of apple prints

We read the book Ten Apples Up on Top, and used apple stickers to make our own pictures of apples up on top.

We talked about how we are all different. We charted alot this week-our hair color, eye color, and how many letters are in our names. We made a book all about US! It has our pictures, our age, and what we want to do when we get bigger.

We've begun to really focus on writing. I found an awesome letter app that we all used on the iPad this week. (The iPad is available to each cild, each day, for 10 minutes. They must stay at the table and play only the app of my choice...Just so no one thinks their child is just "gaming" all day long)

We write our names daily

We begin with the locis on the first letter of our name...

And eventually we can master both first and last name!


We also are really doing well remembering our classroom expectations as we go throughout the day. They are posted in our classroom, and its great when we are all on the same page when it comes to how we should act at school. We refer to these all during the day.

I have rotated out the dramatic play clothes, and it's FOOTBALL season!

Outside we were excited to see the WATER table that Mr. Frank made us!

We made a bicycle repair shop

We had fun at school! (and learned alot, too!)
