I cannot believe that our school year is wrapping up so very quickly. We had a busy week, with lots of fun!
Monday night, we had storms. Scary storms. It was the topic of many conversations Tuesday. We kept coming back to the same point: we were SAFE. We might have been scared, and the power went out for some of us, and the wind was blowing hard, and there was rain and thunder and lightening, but we were safe. That's the most important thing to little ones, to be kept safe.
Gabriel was "texting" pictures of the storm to his Meemaw in Chickasha, OK. This is one way children cope with thing such as tornados, or other scary situations-through dramatic play.

Outside fun!

Brayden is proud of his B's!
This week we learned about caterpillars and butterflies. This is the Very Hungry Caterpillar game.
Bekah takes a moment to enjoy a book
We had puzzles, of course!
Lots of new bears (and dogs) to count and sort
The electricity went out on Thursday, but we went on about our normal day. We finished lunch, went outside, and came in to lay down for rest time. The coolest thing was wearing this headlamp to go potty and wash hands before we laid down. We were SAFE and having an adventure!
Pipe cleaner creations in the art center
We love shaving cream!
Seriously, my heart is about to explode. Look at these HAPPY kids. :). This is 30% of my joy each and every day. I am blessed beyond measure, and sad that we only have 2 1/2 days together as a preschool family. I'm going to soak up even single minute. Sniff, sniff...
