Welcome back!

We were excited and ready to get back to school after a long winter break!

We learned about and focused on WINTER this week, and will continue this through next week, before moving onto Arctic animals the week after. We had some fun new things waiting for us when we returned to school!

We played a game in small groups called "Don't Break the Ice". They love this game, they get to hit the ice with a hammer, and then it's over...in about 45 seconds. So we play it over and over and over...

Setting it up is tough work because the pieces have to fit in just a certain way, but we got the hang of it!

We celebrated two birthdays this week. Londan turned four on New Yars' Eve,

so she got to help make her choice of snack...brownies!

And Bekah has a July birthday when school is out, so we celebrated her HALF birthday! Her choice was chocololate cupcakes with purple frosting!

We played outside this week, and we were chilly when we came in, so we had a treat...hot chocolate!

We did a lot of dancing today! How sweet that Gabriel twirled Lia around and around!

We had fun today with shaving cream on the tables before lunch. It's one of our favorite sensory experiences!

We had a great week getting settled back into our routine and before long, we were back to normal!

On our yearly calendar, I have listed that we will be having an Math and Science family night this month. We are going to switch gears to have a musical evening at the Community Building with a free concert from the KIDDOS!!! Mark your calendar for January 28th, bring all your family and friends, and come dance and have a blast with Debbie and Randy Mays!
